Dear Conference Participants,

Thank you for attending the 2021 Conference on Global Education of the International Cultural Neuroscience Society.

We are delighted to highlight the importance of global education and health equity in a global context.  Global education is an important priority to the development of nations.  The highest standards of global education ensures the equitable societal conditions that promote health equity.  Health equity is fundamental and necessary for the development of individuals, societies and nations.  Mental health promotion that ensures health equity ensures the attainment of health and well-being for all.

Evidence-based approaches in cultural neuroscience inform the practice and policy of health.  Advancement of research in cultural neuroscience furthers understanding of preventions and interventions in mental health for the global population.  Research in cultural neuroscience contributes to addressing grand challenges in global mental health.  Research in cultural neuroscience helps to inform advocacy and policymaking on the important goal of the highest standards of global education for human development in human rights.

International and national initiatives for research and training in cultural neuroscience contribute to capacity building and research infrastructure in mental health.  Building awareness of global education is important for the attainment of health equity in a global context.
